Super Blue Blood Moon

Three Lunar Events at One Time

The last time this event happened was in March of 1866. Thanks Sophia and her Mom for getting up to take photos at 4:55 A.M. On January 31, a total lunar eclipse, super moon, and blue moon occurred.

Sophia took photos of the blue moon and I took a couple of photos of the eclipse. As you can see, Sophia's photos a clearer. It was windy when I was trying to take my photos, so the quality of mine is--ugh. Note to self--next time use the tripod.
